MCP

Installs are paused for now. You can still preview and customize every component on its page.

The shadcn MCP server lets AI editors like Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code browse, search and install components from Clover UI. Ask in plain words and your editor adds the component for you.

Installation

Run this in your project to set up the shadcn MCP server for your editor:

pnpm dlx shadcn@latest mcp init

Then add the Clover UI registry to components.json, so the server knows where to find the components:

Restart your editor and check that the shadcn MCP server is connected.

Usage

Ask for a component by what it does, and mention Clover UI:

• Add the Clover UI clicky hand to my get started button
• Show me the animated components in Clover UI
• Install the Clover UI Soft Button and add it to my page

The editor finds the component in the registry, installs it with its dependencies, and can help you use it in your code.
